MUSE Womens Conference Announces 2014 Workshops

The second annual MUSE Women’s Conference will present in-depth workshops on Sunday, March 9. These workshops are in addition to creative performances, keynote and panel presentations all designed to inspire, connect and celebrate women and girls as catalysts for positive change.  Keynote speakers Lynne Twist and Amy Richards will each teach a breakout workshop on Sunday. Twist will lead a workshop entitled The Soul of Money Workshop: Transforming your Relationship with Money and Life. Richards will lead The Inspiration Behind the PBS MAKERS Documentary: How Can You Turn Your Inspiration into Activation? “We are thrilled to bring these amazing change makers to Central Oregon,” said Amanda Stuermer, World Muse founder. “The fact that Lynne Twist and Amy Richards will be staying with us through Sunday to lead in-depth, personal workshops with our community is a truly astounding opportunity for growth and inspiration.”  Additional workshops led by local visionaries and national movement makers will also be offered on Sunday, scheduled to take place at Central Oregon Community College and Cascades Academy of Central Oregon. Workshops include:• Kerri Kelly, Catalyze Your Life• Chelsea Roff, $50,000 in 50 Days: How to Crowdfund Your Passion!• Melody Moore, Inner Beauty Shop for Teens• Lisa Rueff, Creating The Life and Love That You Want• Ruth Williamson, Building Community with Vision and Heart• Melanie Klein, Media Literacy 101 For Teens Due to capacity constraints, workshops will be offered to MUSE Conference pass holders prior to opening for public sale on February 28. The three-day MUSE Women’s Conference also includes a First Friday Community Art Exhibit; panel discussions, live performances and keynote speakers at The Tower Theatre in downtown Bend; a reception and private dinner; and various breakout workshops facilitated by conference speakers as well as local leaders, activists and artists. Tickets to the MUSE Women’s Conference are now on sale. Workshops are individually priced at $35, available to all Muse ticket holders.
